Instituto Merlix Mission Statement

THE INSTITUTION SEEKS TO COLABORATE IN THE INTEGRAL FORMATION OF ITS STUDENTS AND TOWARDS THIS MEANS PROVIDES A CLIMATE OF GOOD COMMUNICATION, RULES OF GOOD CONDUCT, EXCELLENT HUMAN RELATIONS AND THE FOMENTING OF RESPECT TOWARDS THE CANONS OF PROFESSIONAL ETHICS. THE INSTITUTION DIRECTS ITSELF TOWARDS THE DEVELOPMENT OF VARIED TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL COURSES, WHICH RESPOND TO THE NECESITIES OF THE EMPLOYMENT MARKET. OUR GOAL IS TO EDUCATE FOR EMPLOYMENT, THIS IS WHY PARRALLEL TO THE THEORETICAL WE ENFASIZE THE PRACTICAL SIDE OF EACH COURSE. IN THESE WORKSHOPS THE PHYSICAL ASPECT AS WELL AS THE ATMOSPHERE IN GENERAL IS SIMULATED AS MUCH AS POSIBLE TO RESEMBLE A REAL WORKPLACE. DURING THESE COURSES WE TRY TO STENGTHEN THE ETHICAL AND MORAL VALUES OF OUR STUDENT BODY. WE PUT ALL OUR EFFORTS TOWARDS MAKING OUR STUDENTS CONSIOUS OF THE RESPECT ONE SHOULD HAVE TOWARDS A PROFESSION OR VOCATION ONE HAS CHOSEN IN ORDER TO INSTILL IN THEM A GREAT DESIRE FOR SELF-ADVANCEMENT. WE STRIVE TO MAKE THEM AWARE THAT WORK DIGNIFIES THE PERSON. OUR MISSION IS TO SERVE ALL THOSE THAT DON?T HAVE THE POSSIBLITY OF OBTAINING A LONG TERM CAREER DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEY PRESENT AN URGENT NEED TO BE PREPARED IN AS SHORT A TIME AS POSIBLE TO ENTER INTO THE WORK FORCE. VIA AN ATTRACTIVE CURRICULUM AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THAT LEAD TO THE INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE STUDENT WE STRIVE TO COMBAT UNEMPLOYMENT, SCHOOL DESERTION, DRUG ADDICTION AND DELINQUENCY.
